Car crash kills father and son on their way to Missouri

A man and his young son were leaving Texas, heading back to their home in Missouri, when they were involved in a car accident. Both the father and the son passed away, and reports show that they died at the crash site. The man was just 28 years old, and his son was 2 years old.

A spokesperson for the police, when asked about the cause of the crash, said that it looked like it was simply an accident, but that it would probably need to go before a grand jury to determine if charges were needed. It was, after all, a rear-end accident.

The problem was that the traffic around the father and his son was slowing down because there had already been an unrelated accident. That caused their vehicle to slow as it was going up over the crest of a hill. Another vehicle then came over that hill behind the SUV and was not able to stop before colliding with it.

The SUV, which caught on fire in the wreck, was being driven by a third person, a woman who actually did live through the crash, though she was injured. The emergency crews took her to Parkland Memorial Hospital to get treatment, and it is expected that she will recover and is not in danger of losing her own life.

In just seconds, car crashes can cause serious injuries and even death, and the family members who are left behind must know what rights they have to seek compensation after such an event. This can help in such a stressful, emotional time by covering the inherent costs of a major accident.
